House Martell has full range of cognacs; a collection of 10 expressions from their VS, to their Premier Voyage. The Martell distillery uses Ugni Blanc (or Trebbiano) grapes from the Borderies vineyards, and ages its cognac in distinctive Tronçais oak casks. They use a double distillation method, with traditional "Charentais alembics" (pot stills). Aromas of rockrose leaves and incense, and woody notes from the fine-grained oak cask. In the mouth are Wood and spice notes with a pleasant freshness and a velvety texture. On the Nose there are rich fruit and spice notes; fresh citrus, pear and saffron.
